Button up
Today we
finally closed everything up. The hangtest is scheduled for
tomorrow morning. I headed back into town early in the afternoon
to stop by the doctor's office. I think the bacterial crud that I
had before may have left a nice warm window open to something viral,
but I just wanted to have them take a look at my persistent sore
throat. It's not abnormal to be sick for long periods of time
down here, so they say. So the doctor gave me some amoxycillin
and I was on my way.
This evening, my friend Jeff and I wandered up to
the "band room," a sound-proofed room with all sorts of musical
instruments and equipment. We met up with two other people to
play music for a few hours, which was welcomed change from the routine
around here.
