ANITA brings out the antennae
As our
buttoning up process moves on slowly
(but surely), the ANITA guys finally uncovered their two large
receiving antennae from the snows of early this week to begin
mounting them onto the gondola. With a few modifications that
Marty Olevitch made to our GSE and some more TURFTS tests, by the end
of the day, we were confident that ANITA and TIGER will each be getting
enough data down over the 6 kbits/sec rate that we will be getting
using the TDRSS satellite system. Tomorrow, we will be buttoning
up and ready to go for our hangtest, scheduled for December 7.
